The X-Men have a problem. If they ever want to put Wolverine in a movie again, they are going to need to find someone brave enough to step into a role wholly defined by Hugh Jackman. Luckily, one such man exists. And his name is John WickKeanu Reeves.

In a new interview with ScreenGeek, the action star remembered wanting to play either Wolverine or Batman, but missing his opportunity. Now that both of those roles seem to be open, Reeves said he's still interested in taking on Weapon X.

A few years ago you were asked you if you’d do a comic book film. You said you wanted to do Wolverine but you couldn’t take it. You wanted to do Batman, but you couldn’t take it.

Because nerds gonna nerd, there's already concept art of the man behind Neo and John Wick taking on Logan.

Honestly, we can see it. There's no point in trying to outdo Jackman's take on the character so why not take it in an entirely different direction?
