When Black Panther hit theaters in February, it quickly became one of the most successful superhero movies of all time. By March, it joined the prestigious billion-dollar club, and a sequel is definitely on the way.

There’s no doubt Ryan Coogler’s Marvel treat is one of the best films of 2018, but that doesn’t mean it's without its flaws, at least not according to the people over at CinemaSins. In the YouTube channel’s latest take-down, the narrator points out seemingly everything wrong with Black Panther in a 17-minute cut.

Most of the video is spent tallying “sins” for lazy science and reliance on vibranium as an explanation for anything cool in the movie, as well as T-Challa’s various shortcomings as a character. CinemaSins also rails a lot on the CGI and a few particularly dark scenes. Overall, most of the points seem a little too nitpicky, but the narrator does actually give credit a few of the film's best lines, including Shuri’s “What are those?!” joke and that time when M’Baku barks at Agent Ross. C'mon.

Black Panther received nearly unanimous praise from critics when it came out, and could possibly bridge the usual superhero gap by making it into the mainstream award ceremony circuit. It did sweep the MTV Movie & TV Awards last month, but if we’re listening to CinemaSins' critique of the film, its CGI may not hold up to the Academy’s standards.
