Timothée Chalamet, in addition to bagging top-tier performances in films like Call Me By Your Name and Lady Bird, is also one of the subjects of a still-beloved photo taken at a Kid Cudi birthday dinner.

Though the photo and the night in question have both been discussed in great detail, Chalamet seems understandably not sick of recounting that fateful evening.

"So, Kid Cudi, that's my favorite artist ever," he said on Monday's Tonight Show when asked about the well-documented get-together. "I wouldn't be acting without him. I wouldn't have pursued this crazy career . . . I did not know that was what I was walking into which is awesome but surreal. Had to go in the bathroom, send a couple texts."

Chalamet, who can next be seen in Greta Gerwig's Little Women, initially thought he was only going to be meeting up with Cudi. "Which would have already been very surreal," he said. "Whenever I'm trying to have a good time but I'm also coming off weird, like right now."

Of course, the dinner eventually also included the presence of Pete Davidson, Kanye West, and Kim Kardashian.

"We're hanging out and it feels like there's an earthquake in the restaurant," he said of the Kardashian-Wests' arrival. "It was, like, epic. And then I turn around and I was like 'Holy shit!' because I feel like I'm in this now a little bit but I feel like too much of a fraud or something. So I'm like 'Whoa, this is nuts.'"

As for those bathroom texts, Chalamet recalled texting friends to make sure he was currently living through something real.

"I went to the bathroom," he said. "Seriously, I sent a text to friends [saying] 'Am I worth, like, does this make sense?' They're like 'Man, 16-year-old you would slap the shit out of you. He would go back to the table.' So I went to the table and it was fun. It was a good time. And then you have enough, like, random whatever they have on the table and you forget about all of it anyway."

Little Women is out Dec. 25.
