Future has been aĀ go-to symbol for toxicity when it comes to memes. More recently, Lori HarveyĀ emerged as Hndrxx's formidable female counterpart. These two worlds collided onĀ Christmas.
The holidays can be the perfect opportunity for one to creep back into the lives ofĀ an ex, someone they've ghosted, or both, with the action possibly leading toĀ a toxic cycle. Yet, this didn'tĀ stop peopleĀ from turning theĀ scenario into a holiday meme. They either used Pluto or Lori as a mask while sharingĀ hypothetical textsĀ they could (or will) sendĀ past lovers.Ā
While Lori Harvey might be new to this type of attention, the Future Hive has been buzzing since before he was applyingĀ pressure with hisĀ VVS. As a result, he's become a staple in meme culture. While all of this free publicity adds to his cultural legacy, Future wishes he was able to get paid from people using his image.Ā
"I like the memes but Iād love it if I got paid off of them," Future recentlyĀ told Uproxx. "I should be able to get some money off of it. Thatās why I donāt know why people like Instagram so much, because you donāt get paid from it. You get $0 from it but you quick to put your life out there just for free. Iād rather get paid for it. Thatās the only thing I donāt like about the memes of me. I donāt get paid for them. But itās free promotion, so itās a win-win at the end of the day, because you want people to still be talking about you no matter what."Ā
