Gucci Mane on 'Woptober 2,' His Top 5 Albums, Dropping 101 Projects, ATL Rap Scene | Everyday Struggle

On Thursday’s (Oct. 17) episode of #EverydayStruggle, Nadeska, Wayno and DJ Akademiks are joined by Atlanta legend Gucci Mane. The EDS crew and Big Guwop start off the show discussing the issue between him and Angela Yee from The Breakfast Club. Next, Gucci Mane speaks on his upcoming project, ‘Woptober 2,’ which is his 101st project of his career, and reveals the significance behind the iconic  1017 numbers. Soon after, Gucci speaks on what sparked his mental and physical growth process, and the responsibility of being a role model/leader for new artists. Afterwards, the “Lemonade” rapper lists his top 5 albums of all time that he’s released, and shares his thoughts on the Top 50 Atlanta Rappers list that went viral a few weeks back. Later in the show, Gucci Mane drops gems on how to maintain longevity in the rap game and describes how he became a rapper after his prison release in 2001. Soon after, the EDS trio share their thoughts on Gucci’s collaborations with Bruno Mars and Solange. Then, Gucci lists his favorite female artists at the moment and elaborates on not caring about album sales at this stage of his career. To close out the show, Gucci Mane gives marriage advice and speaks on his wife’s loyalty contributing to his success. Lastly, Gucci discusses how his recent collaboration with the luxury brand, Gucci came about.
