Casanova Talks Debut Album, Trolling, Problems w/ 6ix9ine & Confronts Akademiks | Everyday Struggle

On Thursday’s (Oct. 10) episode of #EverydayStruggle, Nadeska, Wayno and DJ Akademiks are joined by Brooklyn rapper, Casanova. The EDS crew and the “So Brooklyn” rapper kick off the show discussing the past beef between Akademiks & Cas, which was resolved a few weeks back at a local NY club (video provided). Soon after, Casanova checks Ak about some previous articles the EDS host posted on his personal blog during the beef between Cas and 6ix9ine. Then, Casanova reflects on how his highly publicized beef with Tekashi 69 taught him to make better decisions and focus more on music. Later in the show, the EDS trio and Casanova speak on the difference between rap music and the streets, and how to control the narrative of your brand as an artist. Soon after, Casanova gives his  definition of snitching in relation to the recent trial of 6ix9ine. Next, the EDS squad and Casanova speak on how the #SoBrooklyn challenge came about, and how the song became a viral sensation. Cas also talks about his new single “Coming Home” ft. Chris Brown, doing a music video in Africa with hyenas, and why it took him so long to drop his debut album “Behind The Scars.” To close out the show, Casanova explains how he got an invitation to Roc Nation’s annual brunch and the story behind getting a picture with Jay-Z.
