On Wednesday, October 23, David Chang's next Netflix series, Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner, premieres. This four-part series finds Chang traveling the world with a celebrity guest (this season features Seth Rogen, Chrissy Teigen, Lena Waithe and Kate McKinnon) exploring the food and cultures of different cities while learning more about themselves.

“For me," Chang explains, "the best part about making Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner is traveling with people who have different perspectives than my own. What I really want from travel—and from life in general—is to see the world from as many angles as possible. Of course, it's more comfortable to surround yourself with people who share your point of view, but I don't think you can grow as a person that way.”

During Chang's LA visit with Lena, they get into representation being "real" in Waithe's peer group, and how he may not have visited this conversation before with the Asian American community. "It only takes on thing," Waithe says, "to send a ripple effect to remind us to keep it truthful, to be honest. That's all Maya Angelou wanted us to do, is to tell the truth, and when you tell the truth, it's lasting."

Check out the full clip up above, and be sure to tune into Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner on October 23, only on Netflix.
