Ugly God On Debut Album 'Bumps & Bruises,' Record Label Situation, Rap Fans & More|Everyday Struggle

On Thursday’s (Aug. 8) episode of #EverydayStruggle, Nadeska, Wayno and DJ Akademiks are joined by Ugly God, who’s releasing his debut album ‘Bumps & Bruises’ this Fri., Aug. 9. The EDS trio and UG kick off their discussion by speaking on the “Water” rapper’s absence in music since dropping his ‘Booty Tape’ mixtape and gracing XXL’s Freshman Class cover in 2017. Later in the show, UG shares with the crew his opinion on real fans vs. fake fans and breaks down the difference between the two. Afterwards, UG opens up about his current label situation with Asylum Records and breaks down the details behind his contract. UG then explains to AK, Wayno and Nadeska why he chooses to stay away from industry events and his reason for not showing off his valuables on social media.
