QC's 'Vol. 2,' Lil Nas X Dethroned & DaBaby Says Next LP Will Give Him GOAT Status | Everyday Struggle

On Tuesday’s (Aug. 20) episode of #EverydayStruggle, Nadeska, Wayno and DJ Akademiks start off the show sharing their thoughts on Quality Control’s new album ‘Quality Control: Control Streets Vol.2’ in their segment ‘The Review.’ Soon after, DJ Akademiks shares updates on the charting status of some new albums such as Rick Ross' 'Port of Miami 2' and Trippie Redd's '!.' Ak also talks about Lil Nas X's "Old Town Road" losing the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 after 19 weeks atop. Afterwards, the EDS crew determines the fate of newly released songs, such as ‘Ransom (Remix)’ by Lil Tecca ft. Juice WRLD, ‘Welcome to the Party (Remix)’ by Pop Smoke ft. Nicki Minaj, ‘Won’t Be Late’ by Swae Lee ft. Drake and ‘MLK BLVD’ by Jeezy ft. Meek Mill in their ‘Brick, Hit or Wait On It' segment. Later in the episode, the crew discusses DaBaby’s recent comments on his next album, which according to DaBaby will give him G.O.A.T. status once it drops. Soon after, the crew debates a tweet from IDK about Kanye’s ‘808’s& Heartbreaks’ opening doors for Drake in their ‘Big Facts or B.S. segment. Towards the end of the show, the squad answers a fan question about Jay-Z possibly using his new partnership with the NFL to get Colin Kaepernick a job and 50 Cent’s most recent petty antic with him denying Wendy Williams access into his pool party.
