Netflix has finally announced that Top Boy will return to our screens on September 13.

Nearly six years after the epic drama's first two seasons finished on Channel 4, season three of Top Boy will air exclusively on Netflix and see Ashley Walters and Kano reprise their roles as 'Dushane' and 'Sully', while the likes of Little Simz, Dave and Bashy (aka Ashley Thomas) join the cast.

The ten-episode season sees Dushane return from exile to his home in London to reclaim his throne in the highly lucrative drug market. He teams up with Sully, his spiritual brother, partner and sometime rival, who is also returning to the same streets after his own form of exile – prison – comes to an end. Awaiting them both is Jamie (Micheal Ward), the young, hungry and ruthless gang leader whose ambitions leave no place for Dushane and Sully.

The new installment is executive produced by multi-faceted entertainer and producer Drake and his business partner, Adel "Future" Nur, along with Maverick Carter and Jamal Henderson for SpringHill Entertainment.

This is going to be huge!
