Kanye West has been extended an "official" invitation to join the minds beind Rick & Morty in the lab for his own episode.

Creators Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland were asked by @adamglyn about possibly collaborating with West, a well-known superfan of the series, at the WarnerMedia upfronts event Wednesday morning.

"'Ye is a fucking kindred spirit, genius, visionary," Roiland, as seen in a Blast-published video of the exchange, said. "If that guy had the support to do all the ideas he has in his head, he'd be fucking Elon Musk 2.0." Roiland added that he and Harmon would love to have West come in and "hang out and do a voice." Harmon then tossed down the proverbial gauntlet, or whatever.

"I'm giving him an episode," Harmon said. "I'm making it official. We have 70, he can have one. Kanye, you can have one . . . It's official. That would be fucking amazing."

Daniel Radcliffe, he of Harry Potter and the corpse comedy classic Swiss Army Man, was extended a similar offer the same day. Fans also received word that Rick & Morty will return with its fourth season this November.

West may be a bit busy with another television project at the moment. As announced earlier this month, a potential Showtime series in which Jaden Smith would portray a young "alternate reality" version of West is now in development. Ye's appearance on David Letterman's Netflix series, filmed in January, is also set to be released soon.
