No major period piece franchise rollout is complete without an accompanying retro video game adaptation. This July, those capable of binging two things at once will suddenly be unfathomably busy with the simultaneous drop of Stranger Things' third season and Stranger Things 3: The Game.

Developed in collaboration with BonusXP, the 16-bit experience incorporates modern gaming mechanics and offers both single and two-player capabilities. Catch the newly released trailer below. Netflix is also promising the uncovering of previously unearthed Stranger Things "secrets" within the game.

As for the series itself, also returning with some newness on July 4, Netflix recently came through with the official trailer for the slightly delayed third batch of episodes. Fittingly, this two-minute look at where the Duffer Brothers are taking Eleven and company on the new season was soundtracked by a reworked take on the timeless The Who cut "Baba O'Riley."

Though nothing has been said in any official capacity regarding a Stranger Things end date, there's a general feeling among fans—often citing comments from cast members themselves—that we may indeed be at least nearing a conclusion of sorts.

The season 3 premiere, both written and directed by the Duffers, is titled "Suzie, Do You Copy?" and places us once again in mid-80s Hawkins.
