Luke Perry's oldest child, Jack, is committed to carrying on his father's legacy.
Two days after Perry died at age 52, Jack broke his silence on the tragedy with a tribute message shared on Instagram. The 21-year-old, who wrestles professionally under the stage name Jungle Boy, accompanied his note with two photos: One showed him inside the ring with Perry in the top left corner cheering; the other featured his younger self smiling at the camera alongside the late actor.
"He was a lot of things to a lot of people. To me, he was always Dad," Jack wrote. "He loved supported me in everything, and inspired me to be the best that I could possibly be. I’ve learned so much from you, and my heart is broken thinking about everything you won’t be here for. I'll miss you every day that I walk this earth. I'll do whatever I can to carry on your legacy and make you proud. I love you Dad."
Jack shared his message a day after his little sister, Sophie, opened up about the family tragedy.
Perry died Monday, five days after he was hospitalized for a "massive" stroke. The Riverdale and Beverly Hills, 90210 star was surrounded by his friends and family on the day of his death. Details about the funeral arrangements have not been disclosed.
