Complete with an Instagram intro from Will Smith, a.k.a. the blue Genie, Disney's upcoming fresh take on the Aladdin tale now has a proper trailer.

"I just saw the finished version of Aladdin!!" Smith told fans when introducing the new trailer Tuesday morning. "IT IS FIRE 🔥I AM HYPED!!! I can't wait for y'all to see it."

Up top, get a better glimpse at the live-action adaptation of one of Disney's most beloved stories. Guy Ritchie (RocknRolla, Snatch, etc.)  is in the director's chair presiding over a cast that also includes Mena Massoud, Naomi Scott, Marwan Kenzari, Navid Negahban, Nasim Pedrad, and Billy Magnussen.

Speaking with Collider back in December, Ritchie was asked about the aesthetic of the Genie character, which was previously portrayed in Disney's 1992 animated version by the late Robin Williams. For Ritchie, nailing down this take on the character was contingent on tapping into specific parts of Smith's own personality while crafting a visual look rooted in '70s body builders.

"The great thing about the role of the Genie is that it's essentially a hyperbole for who that individual is, for the actor, so it's a wonderful platform and tapestry for an actor to fill his boots on, and Will Smith is an extrovert and you need an extrovert for Genie," Ritchie said.

Aladdin opens May 24.
