Nintendo announced that on Wednesday, Feb. 13, they will be releasing a new Nintendo Direct.

According to the company, the Direct that airs at 5 pm ET will provide "35 minutes of information on upcoming Nintendo Switch titles, including new details on Fire Emblem: Three Houses."

Although it has held smaller presentations, this will be Nintendo's first Direct since their Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Direct in Nov. 2018. Including Fire Emblem: Three Houses, Nintendo is expected to discuss multiple other games, such as Yoshi's Crafted World and Luigi's Mansion 3. However, the hope that a new core Pokemon title will be revealed is doubtful.

Just remember, a new Pokémon game has never been showcased first in a general direct. While it is possible, it's not likely as The Pokémon Company would want the reveal to stand on its own, as evidenced by every main series reveal since Nintendo Directs started. #NintendoDirect

This Direct adds excitement to the craze surrounding the Nintendo Switch. According to rumors, this upcoming event will be followed by the reveal of a smaller, more portable Switch model.
