Tray and Shay are back.
On Tuesday, TBS unleashed the season two trailer for The Last O.G., the Jordan Peele-produced sitcom starring Tracy Morgan and Tiffany Haddish. The acclaimed comedy series debuted in March 2018, and went on to receive multiple award nominations for acting and writing. The show centers on an ex-convict named Tray (Morgan) who attempts to lead a life of normalcy following a 15-year prison stint.
Season 2 will follow Tray as he continues to pursue his culinary dreams by opening a food truck in his old neighborhood. His friends, family, and ex-girlfriend Shay (Haddish) are also in the mix as he attempt to turn his life around.
"I would like to thank God, my family, the fans and TBS and everyone that has been given a second chance," Morgan said, shortly after season two was given the green light. "We love you."
Ryan Gaul, Taylor Mosby, Dante Hoagland, and Allen Maldonado will reprise their roles in the upcoming season. Rap legends like Method Man, Rakim, Rev Run, and Talib Kweli will also guest star.
