Steve Carell gave us an emotional run this year—from the devastating and imaginative Welcome to Marwen, to the family addiction drama Beautiful Boy with Timothée Chalamet. And although he’s vetoed the possibility of an Office reboot, there is one comedic sequel fans can look forward to: Anchorman 3.

When asked if he’d be willing to revive his role as the hilariously dimwitted Brick Tamland, Carell said yes. "If they make another one, I’ll do another one," he told Variety while promoting Marwen. "Those are really fun. That’s just hanging out with friends and being silly."

Right now, an Anchorman 3 seems very possible. Earlier this month Will Ferrell announced he’ll be bringing back Ron Burgundy for his new podcast, aptly titled The Ron Burgundy Podcast.

Don, I am laughing out loud! So about that favor: the media landscape is changing so fast and I DO NOT CARE FOR IT. That's why I'm starting a “podcast!”

Carell is also down to link up with Ferrell on the podcast. "Sure, if he wants me to come in and say some non-sequiturs as Brick, of course. I would in a second,” he said.

Director Adam McKay has previously suggested a third installment could have Burgundy and the crew covering the first or second Gulf War. "I don’t want to say too much, but I’ll just tell you that embedded journalist, Ron Burgundy, Veronica Corningstone, the news team," he told Cinemablend in March. "That definitely gave us a big idea."

McKay's new film Vice, which also stars Carell as Donald Rumsfeld, tells the story of Dick Cheney during his time as vice president. It hits theaters this Christmas.
