Square Enix's beloved Kingdom Hearts franchise is finally set to receive its long-awaited third entry early next year. To whet your appetite, the Japanese publisher and developer has decided to share one last trailer to highlight both the Disney-centric story, and the gameplay of the new entry. With the game set to be released Jan. 29, 2019 on Playstation 4 and Xbox One, footage had already started leaking online, so the trailer arrives just in time.

Game director Tetsuya Nomura personally addressed the situation in a statement. "We're aware that a small portion of Kingdom Hearts III has been circulating online before its official release," Nomura wrote, respectfully asking fans not to share any of the leaks. "We want everyone to be able to equally experience the full game after its release, so we ask for your continued support on this matter," Nomura added. "We're sorry to see this caused concern amongst our fans who are excited for the release. We're one month out from the release. Let's enjoy the game together when it releases on January 29, 2019."

Thank you for waiting, we moved up the schedule. Here is the #KingdomHearts III Final Battle Trailer

The new trailer reveals some of the many Disney worlds and characters that will be featured in the game, including Mike and Sully from Monsters Inc. and Remy from Ratatouille. Characters from Toy Story, Frozen and Tangled are also featured. The loaded Disney-themed role-playing game is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated games of 2019, especially since it's been 15 years since the last one. And based on the action-packed new trailer, it looks like it'll have been worth the wait.
