On Friday, October 19, Netflix will be released season 3 of Marvel's Daredevil into the streets. We've been keeping tabs on not only Matt Murdock's descent into madness and vigilantism, but we've also been able to get a handle on "Agent Dex," this season's awesome adversary that has comic book fans excited. There's been talk of the return of Wilson Fisk, aka the Kingpin, and today, Netflix has dropped a new featurette, looking at Wilson Fisk's role in season 3.
"Just the mention of Wilson Fisk," Daredevil star Charlie Cox says, "is so frightening and sinister." Vincent D'onofrio, who plays Fisk, confessed that he loves "playing this character so much. There's a lot to him, and it's just so much fun."
Fisk was already an icon in the comics, but the return of the rivalry between Fisk and Daredevil in season 3 is sure to be a violent symphony of chaos. Kingpin was already a problem during season 1, but of course, that ended with Daredevil taking him out and putting Fisk in jail. As we've said recently, Fisk's out with a vengeance, and as he ascends to the top of the criminal underground, he's ready to stamp out Daredevil once and for all.
