Professional gamer Douglas Martin aka “FaZe Censor” decided to break up with his super attractive, internationally beloved weather-woman girlfriend Yanet García to focus on playingCall of Duty full time.

Martin explained his decision in a 10-minute YouTube video he begins by calling García “an awesome girl.”

“She deserves the best,” he said. “She’s beautiful, she’s smart, she was an awesome girlfriend."

The couple began dating three years ago, and used to live together in New York City until García moved to Mexico City to pursue her career as an actress and weather anchor for the television station Hoy. Martin explained that the relationship became difficult to manage due to their conflicting work schedules. “I'm playing Call of Duty full time now. I'm literally sitting here every single night from 7 p.m...sometimes until 5 a.m...playing Call of Duty," he said.

That's a lot of CoD, but hey, this is his dream. Unlike many of y’all reading this, Martin gets paid ($$$) to play video games, and he’s dedicated to becoming the best. "I’m on a contract. It’s not like I don’t want to do this, this is the career that I want. I want to win a ring, I want to win a world championship, what I want in my life at this very moment is to compete in Call of Duty because I love it so much," he said. "I’m going to do whatever it takes to be a champion."

That includes breaking up with his apparently time-consuming model girlfriend. "There’s only 24 hours in a day and I just didn’t have enough time to do what I needed to do,” he continued.

Since the split, García tweeted she's "heartbroken" to her 668,000 followers, who are obviously overflowing with support.

This breakup just goes to show you that none of us are safe. If “Mexico’s hottest weather anchor” can be dumped over a video game, the rest of us plebs have little hope. So take García's advice:

Judging from Maxim and TMZ's drooling posts about the split, and the amount of thirsty guys sliding into her Twitter replies, she’s got plenty of future baes to choose from.
