Johnny Depp can't stay out of the news as of late, frequently getting himself into some trouble somehow.

TMZ reports that he's being sued by location manager Gregg "Rocky" Brooks, who worked with Depp on the upcoming Biggie Smalls murder investigation movie City of Lies. Brooks alleges that Depp attacked him, and even told him he'd give him $100,000 to punch him in the face, and now Brooks is understandably seeking legal action.

Brooks says that Depp, who plays LAPD detective Russell Poole in the forthcoming film, hired two of his friends for a scene being filmed in downtown L.A. on April 13, 2017. When the scene wasn't going as well as hoped, Brooks told the director of the film, Bard Furman, that they only had enough time for one more take. When Brooks approached Depp to tell him there was only going to be one more take, he approached an LAPD officer fearing Depp's reaction to the news, at which point he says Depp punched him in the rib cage twice.

Brooks alleges that Depp screamed, "Who the fuck are you? You have no right to tell me what to do." When Brooks didn't react to the punches, Depp supposedly said, "I will give you $100,000 to punch me in the face right now." A bodyguard had to remove him from the area when he refused to stop the confrontation, with Brooks explained that his breath stank of alcohol during the ordeal.

He is seeking unspecified damages, and Johnny Depp's rep has so far remained silent. City of Lies is expected to hit theaters Sept. 7.
