Who doesn’t get a little green with jealousy from time to time? As fans celebrate the 10-year anniversary of John Legend’s song “Green Light” featuring André 3000, Chrissy Teigen decided to keep it real and share an entertaining story about a "jealousy-fueled meltdown" related to the video:
Through a series of tweets, Teigen voluntarily exposed her 22-year-old self, revealing she got jealous to the point of tears during the “Green Light” shoot. It started when a group of dudes began teasing the model about how beautiful some of the women on set were.
Teigen had met her future husband two years earlier, during a different video shoot, for Legend’s “Stereo.” And yes, you can watch the fateful piece of art that brought everyone's favorite couple together:
The fact that Teigen and Legend met on a video shoot only further fueled her jealousy. “Keep in mind john and I met on a video,” she tweeted. “I was that girl! I know how this shit works!”
The story ends when Teigen left the shoot sobbing to the bemusement of everyone, including the director, Alan Ferguson, now married to Solange.
The model/host has little to worry about in this area now. The couple has been married for five years and have two beautiful babies together. Still, Teigen warns, it’s probably better not to test her.
