YG, Anthony Anderson, Kristen Bell Share the Best Texts from Their Moms on 'Kimmel'

Celebrities including YG, Adam Scott, and Anna Faris read great texts from their mothers on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live.'

As Mother's Day fast approaches this weekend, Jimmy Kimmel decided to have some fun by getting celebrities to rattle off some classic texts they've gotten from their moms. The hilarious segment plays out the same way as the show's popular "Mean Tweets" segment, with the likes of YG, Kristen Bell, Anthony Anderson, Adam Scott, Anna Faris, Patton Oswalt, and Tony Hale sharing their magic moments.

One of the highlights is YG's mother, Shonee Jackson, who channels My Krazy Life's intro by hitting him with a "Keenon Daequan Ray Motherfuckin' Jackson" before asking for a $100,000 car for her 50th birthday. She makes an actual cameo just to reassert just how much she wants the new whip. YG and Shonee were also recently joined by 2 Chainz and his mom on the Kimmel stage for a performance of the hit song "Proud" mimicking the memorable music video that included their mom's lip syncing the rappers' bars.

As the clip continues, we learn Kristen Bell's mother wants to use her daughter's friendship with Kimmel to get the inside scoop on all of the 2018 Oscar winners, and Anthony Anderson's mom just wants a hotel room in Las Vegas for the weekend.

Check out the video above and don't forget to show your mom some love this weekend for Mother's Day.
