True Thompson was almost True Kardashian.
TMZ reports Khloé Kardashian thought about leaving Tristan Thompson's last name off of their newly born daughter's birth certificate.
After the scandal erupted, in which Thompson allegedly cheated with at least five women, TMZ says Kardashian was "beyond conflicted" on using his last name. But a "couple of days" after True was born, she ultimately decided to keep Thompson's last name.
It probably helps that Thompson has reportedly been super apologetic to Kardashian.
"They are both 100 percent committed to moving past this and focusing on the overwhelming joy they have in their life right now with their new daughter," an insider told Entertainment Tonight. "Tristan knows he's got to step up now though and can't screw up."
Khloé was reportedly looking for any way out of Cleveland "very soon" when the scandal came to light. But now that True is here and she's working through things with Thompson, it seems she's no longer looking to leave.
"Khloé appreciated her sisters coming to see her and True in Cleveland, but she made it clear, she isn’t going to be leaving anytime soon. It’s important for Khloé that Tristan spend time with their daughter,” an insider told Us Weekly. "Were Khloé and True to leave Cleveland, it could be a bit of time until Tristan would be able to spend any significant time with their daughter in Los Angeles."
Now, the question on everyone's mind is, can Thompson continue to stay, well, true?
