In a pitch mailed out to Emmy voters this week, Family Guycreators took the opportunity to reference their early predictions of both the Harvey Weinstein and Kevin Spacey scandals.

The card is fronted by a note that reads: "We predicted Kevin Spacey and Harvey Weinstein. Open DVD to see who's next." According to Deadline, there is a mirror inside, waiting to reflect the face of each Emmy voter.

Before Kevin Spacey was met with multiple accusations of sexual assault and harassment, Family Guy aired an episode in 2005 that included a scene of a naked Stewie Griffin running through a mall, yelling, "Help! I've escaped from Kevin Spacey's basement! Help me!"

When the clip resurfaced after the accusations, Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane explained that the idea came amid rumors about Spacey in the entertainment industry. "I don’t remember who pitched the joke," he said. "I remember when it was pitched…that was a rumor I had actually not heard and other people in the writers’ room had. And it had to be sort of explained to me: 'Oh, there’s this rumor that’s going on.'"

While it wasn't explicitly addressed in an episode of Family Guy, MacFarlane also took a dig at Weinstein back at the 2013 Oscars when he said, "Congratulations, you five ladies no longer have to pretend to be attracted to Harvey Weinstein."
