Fresh off its screening at SXSW on Sunday, the Sorry to Bother You trailer has finally debuted—and it is weird as hell.

Lakeith Stanfield (Atlanta, Get Out), stars as Cassius Green, a lowly telemarketer who is struggling to find purpose in his mundane life. But when he learns to chanel his  "white voice," (provided by David Cross) Green surges up his company's ranks. Tessa Thompson co-stars as Detroit, Green's artsy activist girlfriend who isn't here for her man climbing the corporate ladder.

Sorry to Bother You—which was was written and directed by Boots Riley—was the buzz of Sundance when it premiered back in January, thanks to its wildly inventive visuals, its reimagining of played out sci-fi tropes, and its provocative examination of race in America. In other words, it picked up where Get Out left off. Speaking of Get Out, Jordan Peele showed love to the film following its Sundance premiere.

Got a chance to see Boots Riley’s ‘Sorry to Bother You’ which premiered at Sundance starring @lakeithlakeith @TessaThompson_x @jermaineFOWLER @kateberlant and @steveyeun . I loved every second. ✊🏾🐴

Sorry to Bother You also stars Armie Hammer as the coked-out CEO of the telemarketing company, Steven Yeun, Jermaine Fowler, Omari Hardwick, Terry Crews, Danny Glover, Patton Oswalt and Kate Berlant. It also marks Riley's directorial debut. Best known for his political-leaning music, Riley released an album of the same name with his group The Coup back in 2012.

Look out for Sorry to Bother You when it hits theaters on July 6.
