Charlie Hunnam as the Legendary Warrior King in King Arthur: Legend of the Sword | Featured Trailer of the Week

Guy Ritchie has a new take on an old classic.

You may think you know the legend. But you definitely don’t know this King Arthur.

In Guy Ritchie’s action-packed new film King Arthur: Legend of the Sword, Charlie Hunnam plays the young warrior as he fights his way through the streets of Londinium. Living the rough and tough life as the unofficial people’s king, Arthur is completely unaware that he is actually the rightful heir to Londinium’s throne—that is, until he manages to pull out the fabled Sword in the Stone. Once he does, he is forced to acknowledge his true destiny to go from being king of the streets to rightful ruler of the kingdom. But to do so, he must team up with a shadowy resistance group that is fighting back against the cruel and ambitious ruler Vortigern (Jude Law). Needless to say, this is the story of King Arthur’s quest like we’ve never seen before.

King Arthur: Legend of the Sword opens in theaters everywhere this Friday. Its all-star cast also features Eric Bana (The Finest Hours), Aidan Gillen (Game of Thrones), Djimon Hounsou (Furious 7), and Astrid Bergès-Frisbey (Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides).
