In addition to a slew of other well-hyped SXSW debuts, attendees of this year’s Austin art-a-thon will be treated to the premiere of a feature-length documentary on the making of J.J. Abrams' Star Wars: The Force Awakens. The documentary, entitled Secrets of The Force Awakens: A Cinematic Journey, premieres on March 14 alongside a hopefully-ends-up-on-YouTube Q&A session. Variety confirms that Force Awakens visual effects supervisor Roger Guyett, co-producer Michelle Rejwan, and supervising sound editor Matthew Wood are all set to make appearances at the doc’s Texas unveiling.

For anyone not fortunate enough to be partaking in the SXSW festivities later this month, Secrets of the Force Awakens will make its non-festival debut via Disney Movies Anywhere and digital HD on April 1, followed shortly after by its inclusion on the Force Awakens Blu-ray combo pack on April 5. Secrets is set to include "exclusive" interviews with Force stars and crew, Variety reports. Of course, as anyone with access to a theater can attest, the subject of this documentary is more than worth the cinematic efforts of feature-length documentary filmmaking. In addition to marking the rebirth of George Lucas' iconic franchise in the fresh hands of DisneyThe Force Awakens shattered a ridiculous amount of box office records to prove once again—to the surprise of no one—that Star Wars is a truly timeless tale.
