LAPD Passes Bill Cosby's Sexual Assault Case to District Attorney for Possible Criminal Charges

Chloe Goins says that Cosby assaulted her in 2008, when she was 18 years old, during a visit to the Playboy Mansion.

The Los Angeles Police Department has turned over the results of their Bill Cosby investigation to the district attorney's office, a move which could eventually result in criminal charges. The investigation was spurred by Chloe Goins, who says Cosby sexually assaulted her during a party at the Playboy Mansion in 2008 when she was 18 years old. This move comes just one day after three more accusers represented by Gloria Allred came forward, with some sharing their accounts in painful detail.

Goins recounts that Cosby gave her a drink at some point during the party, a drink that eventually caused her to "black out." According to Goins, she later woke up to find Cosby "licking her toes" while his "pants [were] around his ankles." The LAPD's investigation began shortly after Goins came forward, according to TMZ.

Cosby's defense, by way of his attorneys, has been that he didn't even attend the Playboy event in question. As previously reported, Cosby's representatives have reportedly been scrambling for a new PR spin in the wake of frequent and highly-publicized sexual abuse allegations.
