Cannabis construction is now a thing.

What a time to be alive — you can now live in a home built from weed. Aside from smoking or ingesting marijuana, a material called "hempcrete" can be used to build houses.

The New York Times reports that hempcrete is made using the woody, balsalike interior of the Cannabis sativa plant (the fiber for textiles comes from the outer portion of the stalk) combined with lime and water. Hempcrete is free from toxins, impervious to mold and pests and also fireproof.

This material has been around for a while but now that marijuana is under mainstream acceptance, hempcrete is all the new rage. So now, if you're really about that life— you have the ability to eat your weed cookies and smoke pot in a cannabis constructed home.
