People in the Hamptons are sick of all you "hipsters" from New York City showing up on the weekend and sexing the place up by having sex everywhere, according to a large group of Montauk residents at a town hall meeting the New York Post covered.
Referring to visitors from New York as an "invasive species," one resident said the town needs "pest control" during the meeting in which those who live in Montauk year-round complained of public sex on the side of their roads, loud, raucous nightclubs and people constantly peeing in their (probably fancy) bushes.
"Hipsters" may even be wandering the streets like some sort of zombie horde that can only be satiated by public sex and partying (depending on how you interpret this quote from a resident):
"There are people who go out to these clubs and then come out and wander all over the streets."
So just remember this the next time you go to the beach and think, "hey, I like the beach. I should live here all the time." It's not a vacation for the people who live there. Oh, and don't piss on the prize-winning rosebushes, especially when DiCaprio is over trying to get laid in the next hammock over.
