It was so 90s that the bad guy was called 'Megabyte'.

Remember Canadian 90s cartoon ReBoot? It was actually really revolutionary at the time, as it was the first ever fully CGI animated series. It’s 90s AF tho—it's from that period when computers very all new and exciting. It was set inside a computer called ‘Mainframe’ and had the lead character Bob fighting ‘Games’ inputted by ‘The User’, and threats from ‘The Web’. The bad guy was even called ‘Megabyte’, ffs.

Well now the show is coming back. It’s been announced that it’ll be reimagined as a 26 episode TV series called  ReBoot: The Guardian Code. An official statement from the producers says “ReBoot: the Guardian Code is an adventure-comedy series about four teens (Austin, Parker, Grey and Tamra) who discover that they’re next-gen Guardians with a mission to save the world, by defending it in cyberspace.” Considering the lead characters were originally called Bot, Enzo and Dot, it suggests they’re changing a lot for the new version.

We’re just looking forward for how they awkwardly shoe-horn Wi-Fi and Instagram into it really.
