The Most Prolific Playboy Is Canadian: Can You Guess Who?

Playboy needs no introduction; it is an American pop culture institution. Founded in 1953 by Hugh Hefner on the premise of creating a new men’s lifestyle entertainment magazine.

The magazine became well known for its use of celebrities on its covers but did you know it also featured interviews with Malcolm X, Martin Luther King, and John Lennon. It is also published short stories from notable authors like Margaret Atwood, Kurt Vonnegut, Joyce Carol Oates, and even Anne Sexton. But let’s get back to those covers; did you know that the face (and body) that has graced the most covers of this American institution is Canadian? That’s right, Pamela Anderson holds the record for the most Playboy covers in its history with 13 covers.

Here's where it all began. For the October 1992 cover of Playboy, Pam headed back to school and broke all of the dress code rules.

Next up? Pam graces her first Valentine's cover in 1991.

Pam graces the cover of the July 1992 issue to promote her TV show: Home Improvement. Yeah, we forgot she was on that show from the 90s too.

For the August 1993 issue of Playboy, Pam appears on the cover with Beldar (AKA actor Dan Aykroyd) and sexes up one of the least sexy movies, Coneheads.

In 1994 Pam was an international sex symbol and starring on the hit TV show, Baywatch. Of course, this cover is remarkably tame by Playboy standards (and Babewatch standards).
