Protesters Swarm Ferguson Police Headquarters After Chief Resigns

On the same day that the Ferguson police chief resigns, protesters return to the streets of the St. Louis suburb.

In the hours after Ferguson Police Chief Tom Jackson (finally) resigned, protesters once again took to the streets of the St. Louis suburb to protest the killing of Mike Brown last August and the Ferguson police. 

Jackson officially resigned earlier in the evening, days after a DOJ report detailed racism in the Ferguson police department and the city's administration. 

With chants of "we do this for Mike Brown" a crowd had gathered on the steps and in the parking lot outside the Ferguson police headquarters where officers were lined up in riot gear.
