Thursday night, Funkmaster Flex went on Hot 97 to air out some ill feelings about Jay Z and specifically HOV's site "Life + Times." Flex repeatedly called the site "trash," and said that they stole ideas from him during an interview. Tons of bombs were dropped (the sound effect, not confirmed truths).

Comedian Hannibal Buress (whose initial Cosby joke renewed the magnifying lens on the former Mr. Huxtable) responded with a parody: full of "that's a lot of nuts!" from Kung Pow!, farts, toilet flushes, and Hadouken blasts. Listen below.

The root of Flex's issue seemed to stem from the site emailing and asking Flex what his involvement was in the current Dipset reunion. Flex also confirmed the longstanding rumor that when he played at Jay's 40/40 Club he was not allowed to play any Dipset records. Flex even posted a screenshot of the email on his Instagram and called out Jay for copying the Funkmaster Flex app with his Magna Carta Holy Grail app that launched with the album.

The full recording of the rant can be heard below, with Flex starting at the 10:00 mark.

Hopefully the Harlem-based group can get back to making the jams we've all loved, stay away from unnecessary beef, and laugh at themselves after Buress' dress down. But, it seems like not just yet as Flex has sent a few more radio digs in Jay's direction, labeling him a "corporate commercial rapper."

Listen to "Victory Freestyle" below.
