Writer’s block. Boy problems. Strained relationships with men. We’ve been here before with Lena Dunham’s Hannah on Girls. But now, it’s all happening in Iowa.
That’s at least the basic premise of Girls’ fourth season, which premieres on January 11. In this first full trailer, we see that Hannah is entrenched in Iowa and figuring out what exactly to do about Adam. Marnie is carrying on her relationship/affair with Desi, Shoshanna is having work problems, and Jessa is slapping people. Basically, business as usual.
On the plus side: more Elijah and Hannah partying scenes. Their cocaine-fueled clubbing in Season 2 was pretty hilarious, so it’s good to see that they’ll be running it back in the Midwest.
