Well when you put it that way, Jon Stewart, it does sort of sound like the NFL is a rogue terror cell.
Last night during a segment on ISIS and al Qaeda, Stewart found a way to slip in a little shot at the NFL, who is undergoing a public relations fiasco after the video of Ray Rice punching his wife surfaced on Monday. Stewart was joking that al Qaeda needed to distinguish themselves from ISIS, suggesting that perhaps they put their name on a football stadium.
Then again, as he said, maybe they shouldn’t. After all, “I'm not sure you want to be associated with something as disreputable as professional football right now.”
Ouch. And also, definitely true.
