Cowabunga, dude.

The new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie hauled in $93.7 million dollars worldwide in its first weekend, which was plenty enough for Paramount to immediately announce a sequel today, with Michael Bay again leading the production.

That was faster than you can get a peanut butter and clams pizza delivered to the sewer.

Josh Appelbaum & André Nemec will return to write the sequel, but there was no word on whether Jonathan Liebsman would be back to direct.

The sequel is set to hit theaters on June 3, 2016.

Turtles debuted at $65 million for the weekend in the U.S., taking the No. 1 spot from Guardians of the Galaxy, which brought in $45.1 million in its second weekend.

Tornadoes-destroying-shit movie Into the Storm, the other big debut this week, brought in only $18 million.
