It looks like SaturdayNightLive will be missing its resident KimKardashian, BrunoMars, KellyRipa and Arianna Huffington when it returns for a 40th season this fall.
Nasim Pedrad didn't sound hopeful that she'd be returning to SNL during a panel at the ATX Television Festival on Sunday. Pedrad has signed on to play one of JohnMulaney's roommates on the new Fox sitcom Mulaney, which shoots in Los Angeles, while SNL shoots in New York.
"I have an apartment in L.A. and, as far as I know, I'm out here now," Pedrad said.
Pedrad joined the cast of SNL in 2009. In addition to a long list of celebrities such as Kardashian, she plays outspoken elementary school student Shallon and special-effects-loving motivational speaker Heshy on the show.
NBC told Buzzfeed that no casting decisions had been made yet for the next season of SNL.
