NBC has just announced that it's landed the first-ever American television interview with Edward Snowden, the former NSA contractor who changed the course of history by leaking a series of classified government documents detailing the agency's controversial surveillance practices.

Nightly News anchor and managing editor Brian Williams travelled to Moscow, where Snowden is currently in exile, to interview the whistleblower for what will be a sixty-minute primetime special due to air at 10 p.m. EST on May 28.

According to NBC, Williams spent several hours with Snowden and was also joined by Glenn Greenwald, a journalist who worked with Snowden to disseminate the documents and whose reportage on the NSA scandal has been at the forefront of the story.

This will be interesting, to the say the least.
