Around 1 a.m. this morning, four men were arrested in connection with the murder and carjacking of a Hoboken, N.J. lawyer last Sunday.
According to the New York Daily News, Kevin Roberts, 33; Basim Henry, 32; Karif Ford, 31; and Hanif Thompson, 29 were arrested after authorities entered a Irvington home this morning, removing at least one suspect.
On Sunday night, 30-year-old Dustin Friedland and his wife, Jamie, were entering their Range Rover at the Mall at Short Hills when two men approached them. Reports say that Friedland fought with the men before being shot in the head; the assailants then ordered his wife out of the vehicle and fled. The abandoned vehicle was recovered Monday morning in Newark.
Friedland, who later died at Morristown Medical Center, was buried on Thursday. All four suspects face murder, carjacking and conspiracy charges.
