Siri is Finally Going to Say Your Name Right in iOS 7

She's evolving.

In an addition that wasn't addressed in Apple's keynote, Siri may be coming with a new feature that allows her to "learn" the correct pronunciation of your name.

Discovered by a reader at 9 to 5 Mac, only some versions of iOS 7 beta have the new feature—but it's something that, while not official, could easily be included in the final version of the OS. Plain and simply, there's no reason it shouldn't. With Siri's new feature, if she can't say your name correctly the first time, you can easily tell her, “That’s not how you pronounce [your name],” and she'll go through the process of learning to say it. She'll ask you to say your name, give you a few options of how she thinks you said it, and if you pick one of them, she'll use it from then on out. It's a small addition, but helps personalize the iOS 7 experience, which is pretty much what we all want in the end.
