It looks like Marissa Mayer is not the only CEO willing to spend major dough. Google reportedly wants to buy Waze, the popular mobile mapping app. According to Bloomberg, "Waze is fielding expressions of interest from multiple parties and is seeking more than $1 billion."

After Facebook originally met with Waze, Google approached the mapping startup with another offer. But it seems the move may be more strategic than anything, as Google hopes to continue its dominance in the mapping market.
