D.C. Bars and Restaurants Announce Extended Hours for Inauguration

It's a celebration, b*tches.

None

On Monday, 154 D.C. bars and restaurants announced that they would be serving liquor through 4 a.m. until Jan. 22 to accommodate the increased number of patrons due to the inaugural festivities. To pull this off, bars had to apply to stay open and could not be restricted by previous agreements.

In addition to serving liquor until 4 a.m., bars will be able to remain open for 24 hours. However, the two-hour food restrictions will stay in place. In other words, if a bar or restaurant serves liquor until 4 a.m., they can only serve food until 2 a.m.

Last year, city officials determined that the additional hours would bring in $750,000, which is less than what the previous inauguration produced. Still, considering how much money the city lost due to the NHL lockout, this should help. Below, you'll find the list of bars and restaurants that will be open and serving liquor into the wee hours of the morning:

One, 1606 20th Street, NW

You might recognize some of the bars on this list as D.C.'s douchiest.
