Shia LaBeouf and Alec Baldwin Are Going to Star in a Play Together

A Broadway production of Orphans, specifically.

None

Shia LaBeouf is continuing his mission to be considered a serious actor, and according to Deadline, he's just signed on to star in an upcoming play on Broadway with 30 Rock star Alec Baldwin. The play is Orphans by Lyle Kessler, which surrounds two brothers who kidnap a rich man who has a suitcase full of bonds. LaBeouf will star as one of the brothers, Treat, and Baldwin as the rich man who's kidnapped. Previews will begin on March 19th at the Schoenfeld Theatre in NYC, and the show will officially open on April 19th.

It's interesting casting, considering both actors have a history of getting in physical altercations with people—namely the paparazzi—so this could either be really good, or really bad. We're not sure which one we're rooting for more.
