When you're caught with drugs in your pockets, the old "these aren't my pants" excuse isn't going to save you. Still, people try. A deputy in Charlotte County, FL was patrolling a neighborhood when he noticed Jason Edwin White riding a bicycle. He stopped White, who was reportedly trembling and stuttering. White gave him permission to search him for illegal substances, and the deputy reportedly found nine Oxycodone pills and a cut blue straw used to snort drugs in the pocket of his pants.

White's excuse: "Oh, wait, these aren't my pants!" He was arrested for possession of Oxycodone and drug paraphernalia. Even on the way to jail, he insisted that the pants belonged to his uncle, and that he had just thrown them on. Tellingly, police did not rush out to arrest his uncle.
