There's little doubt that Jennifer Lopez's role as a judge on "American Idol" has helped her resuscitate her career.
But is the pop diva now ready to leave the show? Sources close to Lopez say her busy schedule has become too demanding, and that she'll be exiting stage left soon.
"She's just too busy," a source told E! News.
And Lopez herself has admitted that perhaps the show has become too much for her.
'This is my second year," she told Ellen DeGeneres earlier this week. "I don’t know if I can go for a third year. I miss doing other things. It really does lock you down."
A quick glance at her schedule reveals lots of activity. She'll be touring relentlessly throughout Latin America and the United States this summer, before planning to embark on a year-long worldwide tour in the fall.
The next round of "American Idol" tapings will be taking place while she's on the road, making it virtually impossible for her to do both.
