The latest trailer for Activision's upcoming The Amazing Spider-Man, set to release alongside and take place after the July 2012 film, shows Spidey's escapades from the point of view of found footage and news reports. It's a unique trailer and an exciting way to reintroduce us to the series once again.

As for the plot, a plan to "bring peace to Manhattan" appears to have gone horribly awry, and naturally, Spider-Man is the only person capable of mitigating the threat of normal-to-humongous-sized robots ravaging the city. To their credit, they only use the world "amazing" once.
