With Dwayne Johnson already in talks to "bring it" as Roadblock, the Never Say Never director Jon Chu is ready to up G.I. Joe 2's sex appeal ante by adding French actress Elodie Yung.

Yung is best known for her portrayal of Tao in Patrick Alessandrin's 2009 genre attention-grabber District 13: Ultimatum, where she was a tattooed badass who took out corrupt cops using a knife tucked away in her ponytail. For Chu's Hasbro action-adventure flick, she's wanted to play Jinx, a young California woman who finds out she has family ties to a ninja clan during a fateful trip to Japan and becomes a full-fledged Joe. She's recruited to the military team by fellow ninja master Snake Eyes.

Seems like Chu, an admitted toy soldier stan, is keenly aware of what type of "grit" he wants for the flick. With only Channing Tatum and Ray Park confirmed to re-enlist as Duke and Snake Eyes, respectively, Joseph Gordon-Levitthas opted out of playing Cobra Commander again to be a part of The Dark Knight Rises cast.

While Yung's casting in the film is not yet confirmed (though it seems pretty certain), audiences will be able to get a taste of her sexiness on-screen next in David Fincher's version of The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, in theaters December 21st. Her role in Fincher's pic: the lesbian lover of Rooney Mara's character, Lisbeth Salander. Yes, please.
