Ram Records is one of those imprints that has long had an ear for talent, and with the enthusiastic push for EDM these days, they have had a Midas touch with talent over the last three or four years. It started with Chase & Status, who since releasing tracks for Ram have worked with Rihanna, Rita Ora and Snoop Dogg. Sub Focus feels like he’s moving in that direction, and with his sophomore album set to drop in early 2013 (via Ram Records/Mercury), he’s set to exceed the heights he’s already reached. His new single, “Tidal Wave” (which is due out November 5th), certainly feels like it’s one that’ll get his name in even more conversations regarding EDM artists who’ve “made it,” and has already caused pandemonium in the club. Not to mention that he’s already tapped Flosstradamus to officially remix this bad boy. The vocal from Alpines soars over this lush track, and in the new video, two things that normally don’t happen with EDM videos happened: the producer is featured prominently, and the visuals actually matched the title of the track/lyrics in the song.
